The final round of the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship took Mike Conway to Road Atlanta for MOTUL Petit Le Mans
The #31 Whelen Engineering Racing Cadillac DPI-V.R, of Mike, Pipo Derani, and Olivier Pla, secured a P7 starting position in qualifying in the DPI class
After hour 1 of the race, the #31 Cadillac DPi had successfully moved its way up the order to P2 and maintained that position until hour 5
The team was then running in P5 whilst fighting their way up the grid before the two leading Cadillacs were involved in an incident promoting Mike and the team to P3
With under half an hour to go, the #10 Acura then crashed out from second place - promoting Mike and the team to P2 at the finish
Mike and the team finish P4, just 3pts off the leader, in the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup DPi Drivers Championship
